 Dear students,  In our previous lesson, students explored how sounds and audio soundscapes can be used to create art. These soundscapes did more than just sound interesting—they communicated ideas, moods, and messages. This connects directly to our next topic: understanding media . Media is any form of communication that shares information or ideas with an audience. It can take many forms, including print media (newspapers and posters), digital media (websites and videos), social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and audio media (music, podcasts, and soundscapes). Just like visual art, sound can be a powerful type of media. Not all media have the same purpose. Objective media aims to inform the audience using facts and balanced information.
