MYP 1: Norse Mythology: Ragnarok Prophecy
Dear MYP 1 learners, Every culture has stories that help explain the world—how it began, how it changes, and even how it might end. In our final mythology lesson, we bring together the three traditions we have explored: Hindu, Greek, and Norse mythology . Our journey concludes with Ragnarök , the Norse prophecy of the "Twilight of the Gods." Unlike many stories where heroes defeat evil and live happily ever after, Ragnarök tells us that even the gods cannot escape fate. Yet, despite its destruction, the story ends with hope , reminding us that every ending can lead to a new beginning.
